The aim of this page is to provide users with a testing environment for Kaboum: how to integrate it in a web site, the commands, the functions, etc.

Geographic data set for this test page are voluntarily very simple. Test page can be found here.

GeoSASS

This J2EE project developed for the OSS (Observatoire du Sahara et le Sahel - Sahara and Sahel Observatory) integrates Kaboum to display thematic maps concerning water needs in northern Africa.

Some advanced tools, like attribute query feature) were developed for this project.

Each thematic map is composed of several geographic layers, leading to a very rich mapping environment.

Geographic Administration Suite (GAS)

This Web project is intended for companies, organisations, etc. willing to manage their geographic data in a cross-plateform, networking environment without deploying an expansive proprietary GIS software.

Kaboum is used in this project as the core component to deal with geographic data.
V ector objects can be edited thanks to kaboum.
Mapserver mapfile parameters can be graphically changed and the result is displayed on-the-fly into Kaboum.

To play with kaboum in this project, first choose some geographic data, then click on the " Visualize geographic data from selected datasources" link to compose your own map.
